Wheel Alignment Training Stage One

By completing this course you will become a master of the basics. Learn best practice wheel alignment techniques and the skills to understand why vehicles move out of alignment, how to read tyres, and learn the basic science behind steering angles and wheel alignment geometry.

This is the ideal course for people wanting to get an in depth understanding of the basics of wheel alignments. It is aimed at technicians who are starting to perform wheel alignments, or those who want to strengthen their understanding of the basics.

By completing this course you will:

  • Understand basic wheel alignment geometry
  • Understand road and surface testing
  • Understand caster, camber, and their effects on tyres
  • Understand suspension inspection processes
  • Be able to ask the right pre-alignment questions
  • Have an understanding of ride height considerations
  • Understand the reason why an alignment is needed
  • Perform a basic wheel alignment

Participants registering for this session do not need to have any specific wheel alignment skills. A basic knowledge of suspension and steering components is welcome, but not necessary.
