Vehicle Dynamics Control

Anti-lock braking (ABS), Traction Control (TCS) and Electronic Stability Control Systems (ESP) are no longer optional or only found in high-end vehicles. These systems are now legally required on all vehicles. The hydraulic and electronic systems form part of an integral part of vehicle operations including braking, transmissions, engine management and diagnostic functions.

By completing this course you will:

  • Diagnose modern stability control systems
  • Understand electrical and hydraulic variations
  • Understand integration into other vehicle systems
  • Understand the effect of vehicle modifications on performance
  • Discuss tips and common faults to help with efficient diagnostics
