This two day course provides a comprehensive overview of automotive air conditioning systems, encompassing their fundamental operation, health and safety considerations, and Australian refrigerant licensing requirements. This course includes two AUR accreditations - AURETU103 & AURETU104

By completing this course you will:
· Understand complex automotive air conditioning systems
· Gain in-depth analysis of various refrigerants and their chemical compositions
· Understand principles of air conditioning
· Understand detailed operational overview and compressor types
· Be able to diagnose refrigerant system faults and troubleshoot common issues
· Understand superheat and subcooling system efficiency and diagnostic applications
· Understand leak detection methods

Course topics include:
· Advanced health and safety considerations
· Enviromental impact
· Refrigerant properties and detailed system components
· A/C fundamentals
· A/C systems with thermal expansion valve and fixed orifice tube functions
· Superheat and subcooling efficiency and diagnosis
· Service equipment management and refrigerant identification
· Performance check & flushing techniques
· Fault Diagnosis
Automotive Air Conditioning System Diagnosis is aimed at workshop technicians,
who will acquire a robust understanding of diverse A/C systems and refridgerant dynamics
All participants must obtain an ARCtick Trainee License (CL000)
